Terms of Service
Last updated May 20, 2026
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Mira website and hosted services. By using Mira, you agree to these terms. If you are using Mira on behalf of an organization, you agree to these terms on its behalf.
Using Mira
Mira reviews pull requests to help your team catch bugs, security issues, and convention drift before code is merged. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the service.
Open Source License
The core of Mira is open source and distributed under the Apache License 2.0. You are free to self-host, modify, and redistribute the open source components under the terms of that license. These Terms of Service apply specifically to our hosted services and website, not to your independent use of the open source code.
Accounts
You are responsible for the activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service to violate any law or infringe the rights of others.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or its systems.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service.
- Reverse engineer the hosted service except as permitted by the open source license or applicable law.
Your Content
You retain all ownership of the code, repositories, and other content you submit to Mira. You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to provide the service to you. We do not claim ownership of your code and do not use your private code to train machine learning models.
Intellectual Property
Except for the open source components and your own content, the Mira service, including its branding, design, and documentation, is owned by Mira and protected by intellectual property laws. The Apache License 2.0 does not grant rights to use Mira trademarks.
Third-Party Services
Mira integrates with third-party platforms. We are not responsible for the availability, content, or practices of third-party services, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.
Disclaimer
Mira generates automated review feedback and may produce incomplete or inaccurate results. It is a tool to assist your team, not a replacement for human review. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mira and its contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or revenue arising from your use of the service.
Termination
You may stop using Mira at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or if we discontinue the service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
